Una Paloma Blanca

Cloudy and muggy this morning. The sun came out at lunchtime but luckily so did the breeze, so it was a much more comfortable day.
I tried to sort out the new blinds, yet again.
I don’t know if it’s a case of lost in translation but it seems like they won’t be getting fitted anytime soon! I’m afraid the mañana thing is still alive and well in Spain.
I really missed Mr P today as it’s our 34th wedding anniversary. I celebrated it with lunch at a local bar with an excellent reputation for affordable food. I then spent the rest of the afternoon reading in the shade, in our local park.
I’m really excited about my friends Janet and Kate arriving tomorrow evening. It’ll be great to have company again! That said my time alone has passed surprisingly quickly and I’ve enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
