Brandt’s Cormorant

I stopped by to look at the nesting site this morning. Things seem to have settled down a bit since my last visit. Most birds appear to have partnered up, and there are lots of occupied nests, but no eggs that I could see. There is still a fair amount of posturing and working out of the hierarchy. The Extras show one couple who is still working on their nest, alongside some neighbors who are hunkered down, and a long view to give you an idea of what the site looks like.
