Summer Garden

I spent the afternoon in the garden, potting on flower seedlings and planting some into the garden in anticipation of some mid/late summer colour. At the moment the geums, roses, foxgloves and geraniums are in bloom and it’s looking colourful and plentiful. The roses are from David Austin and birthday gifts from various years. The foxgloves were a purchase from a charity stall in one of our neighbour’s gardens.

Grateful:
- To finally find some suitable clothes to wear to a family gathering next weekend. It’s been a challenge!
- To the plumber who finished the last stage of our boiler installation this afternoon. He and Andy had a good blether whilst I gardened.
- To a dog walker friend and his vizsla dog for their pleasant company on our walk this afternoon. Merlin and his dog potter around together very amicably.
