Sunday: Anglesey Vintage Rally

Very misty when we got up around 7am - MrD suggested we went off the Anglesey Showground to the vintage rally, he hadn’t been for years!

We went in his van and as we moved inland the mist disappeared and bright sunshine took its place.

One of the very large sheds was full of motorbikes, so he disappeared into there whilst I went next door and discovered some friends from the old days of Beaumaris Table Top Sales, we chatted for quite a while then I went in search of MrD who coincidentally was looking for me :-)

We bought coffees from my friends on the Coffee Bay stall - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2492798213346559236 - and had a wander around all the vehicles.

A couple of hours later weather was getting unbearably hot so we called it a day and set off for home, popping into Lidl for a few groceries.

Late afternoon MrD moved my potted fig tree out of the greenhouse, it’s been in there since The Sailor was about a year old - quite a long time! :-))

MrD had bought some connectors and has now attached a pipe to the small water butt next to his shed, I can now water the raised veggie bed behind the greenhouse - onions are coming on a treat!
