BY THE BEACH

We left Daisy with our guests from last night who live in Hunstanton and went off to the sea life centre. We got a lift down but walked back up…that was The Rev done for!
Find the tanks of fish and turtles and Caimans so hypnotising and restful but
#the penguin show and
#the seal show were delightful. They rescue and release many seals.
After a tour of our friend’s new (rather too large for 2 ) house we stayed for some lunch with them.
Then The Rev and I drove to Old Hunstanton for a drink at a pub with a view across the lawn to the sea.
#I had a paddle … it was not too cold either.
#then soaked up a bit of sun.
#The Rev was wrapped up for winter :)))) and Daisy wouldn’t leave his side. Although she did love the freedom of no lead on the beach.
We went back via Snettisham beach….long expanse of beach but nothing there!
After a read, a snooze and some puzzle time we lit the fire pit and toasted marshmallows and drank hot chocolate.
