Crochet tennis racquet!

This morning I went to my club and took the grandchildren swimming, as it was an INSET day for them. No one else in the small pool for an hour which was great…maybe their school was the only local one with an INSET day..or other families had gone away for the lone weekend.
Afterwards we went into the new members lounge for a snack and I spotted this ‘art work’ !

Later I did gardening, first at home being brave and cutting down parts of three Fatsia plants, they had grown very big with all the rain in the winter. Looks better now. 
Then I went to the allotment and planted our courgettes under a cloche and also some climbing beans which I grew from saved seeds. We have such a slug problem I am trying some new pellets around the plants to see if that deters them.
