Celebrations

I was awake way before 6:00. Just why? I went out to the recliner so I wouldn’t awaken hubby. After breakfast, I went out through the garage, not even sure why. But before I went back inside, I had pulled much stuff out of the garage. Hubby used his tractor cart to take 2+ loads of gardening tools, kitty stuff and bird seed to our sheds. We moved things around the walls and cleaned the floors thoroughly. In the mean time, I should have been peeling and cutting up vegetables for the party. After my shower, I got busy and we arrived at the party minutes before it began. It turned out to be a terrific day, loads of family, fun, games, delicious food, adult drinks and music. Hubby and I had to drink water since we were going to 5:00 Mass. Our niece Courtney, her fiancé Wes and their son arrived safely and seemed so pleased to have been invited. Stellen and I fell in love immediately. What beautiful blue eyes and captivating smile. I gave his parents a break and played with him all day. Isla joined us part of the time. Lauren was so pleased at the crowd who came to celebrate her. I made sure to get a shot of the two cousins. My sister, her hubby and my hubby chatted with our niece while Stellen and I played on a blanket under a pop up tent. We are heading home to the recliners and most likely a nap.
