Who Are Your Influencers?
We took off today since it is Sunday. Started the day with a pancake breakfast at Cracker Barrel. On the way home, we looked for replacement parts hubby needs for a few tools and took all our trash and recycling to the convenience station. I will make my version of Chicken Parmesan for dinner. These lilies are in the garden by our garage. They are very short but lovely. That’s it. When I found today’s quote, I stopped and thought about my influencers. My paternal grandmother taught and showed me how to live our Faith. My mother influenced me to always be generous to those in need. My father instilled a good work ethic. My sister demonstrates how to always look for ways to make others’ lives better. My husband shows me the importance of volunteering with my time, treasure and talent. My children teach me to accept others for who they are and be less judgmental. My grandchildren reaffirm the value of unconditional love. I listened to a thought provoking Matthew Kelly video this morning. The theme was: “The real life of privilege is a life of faith, is a life of character, is a life of virtue." Thanks you God for the person You created as me and for putting me in my family. I am privileged beyond measure. I hope you have special influencers also. Stay safe. Thanks for stopping by. “The people who influence us are those who have stood unconsciously for the right thing. They are like the stars and the lilies, and the joy of God flows through them all the time.” - Oswald Chambers
