At The Palace
The County is crying out for sunshine after another day under an ex-army blanket. You know, the one that criminals are led out under, into the Security Vehicle of eternity. However, it’s not been as damp as the Edinburgh half marathon. Indeed, doing things by half – last night we went to a half dance (from 8.00pm – 10.00pm). It’s unusual to be home after a dance before 01.15am. The dancing music wasn’t very brisk either. John Aberdein made a jest appearance. Also another surprise appearance of Bernard. We never knew he was in the County. His partner was Constance Strokes; he made the error of wearing lavender spats.
