Sheep not Cowes

A fine warm day for feeding the borders; Beth Chatto would have luxuriated in the conditions.   Ditto (not Beth – that would be Gossip) the produce in the polycrub and preparing the house for a repaint.  I called Caroline to see if she can get me any more ‘Orchid Blue’ geraniums.  The Current Mrs Creel hasn’t been written out of the script, she’s across cutting the grass at the Bolthole.  I did the same at HQ.   Track 4 Side 1 of ‘Blood on the Tracks’ is an apt description for the sooth-east wind which we started the day with.  It can be quite pernicious; always insouciant.  The trip to the Shetland Dance Fest with our pals is off.  No accommodation available in October.
