Under Starter's Orders...
I'm indebted to CleanSteve for reminding me the tall ships, having spent the weekend at the eponymous Gloucester festival, would be leaving via the ship canal and the Sharpness sea dock into the river Severn today.
I took Morrigan up to Sharpness and met up with Steve as the Severn filled the lagoon outside the sea gates. The dock beyond similarly overflowed into the Severn from the waters of the Gloucester to Sharpness Ship Canal.
It would have been nice to see them under sail, but the winds were on the bow and they motored out into the Severn and away to their next port of call - Falmouth?
In the front of the pack you can see Sprit of Falmouth, with blue-grey Irene beside, and Greyhound bringing up the rear, in front of 90m long cargo ship Nelli. Out of shot to the left was the tall Ship Pelican of London and another I didn't identify.
Last chance to tag your Tiny Tuesday shots as TT470, before I step back to allow sk to carry the challenge forward into June. Results tomorrow.
