Not such a happy family?

This baby Blackbird is waiting for Mum to deliver its food order, and she is in the process of collecting a smorgasbord of goodies - see extra when she was  approached by the male who obviously had thoughts of a spot of mating on his mind with a view to a second brood. She told him to "clear off" in no uncertain terms and ended up chasing him out of the garden before returning to complete the feeding process. Male later returned and kept a respectful distance, which was deemed acceptable!
An interesting little tableau played out.
