The sun shines every day on the Isle of Lewis

Our host Richard often says that the sun shines every day on the Isle of Lewis. We were delighted to catch it this afternoon when we walked across Uig Sands to a wonderful sunbathing spot next to the pink pegmatite rocks. There were a few others on the vast beach too, including a couple of people enjoying a swim. 

Also today we took a load of laundry to the community shop for a service wash, Mr hazelh beat Richard at bar billiards twice, and I beat Mr hazelh at Scrabble.

Exercise today: small amount of walking (8,767 steps).
