Sail Grand Prix
The first time a Sail Grand Prix event has been held in Canada, and Halifax is the host. People are able to watch the races from both sides of the harbor, and it doesn't cost anything to find a spot along the waterfront to watch the races. These catamarans can travel up to 100 km/hour, and since it was a cool and windy day today, it made for some interesting racing. I hope the weather cooperates late tomorrow afternoon for the final races. Right now, there is rain in the forecast.
Going down to get a few photos of the race made for a long day. I left home at 8:30 and it was almost 5:30 when I got home. Stops today included a farmers market, a plant sale, a walk thru the Dal Rock Garden, Masstown Market, a garden center, a walk at Brookfield Marsh, a small garden center and a farm market. Somehow with all these stops I managed to get over 10,000 steps today.
At some point today I picked up a tic. Possibly at the Brookfield Marsh. It was not embedded, it was just crawling on my hairline.
We shall wait and see if the home owners handyman shows up tomorrow to work on the garage door.
