Dwarf rhododendron

One of my purchases when I went to the Rare and Unusual Plant sale was this little rhododendron. It is blooming quite happily and I will be keeping it for myself.

A good day. This morning I had 9 workers, we were on 3 properties next door to each other, plus there was a 4th one down the street. I put the guys with E on one property, A & K were on another property and the girls were weeding on the third property. Two of the properties have a gate that joins them, so I circled between them supervising. Then E took A down to property 4 to help her do some pruning, they came back, then E and one of the guys went back to property 4 to cut up the branches. Then I had to go down to property 4 to talk to the homeowner about one of his trees.
We worked on 2 other small properties this afternoon. Both I had worked for in the past. One of them was 3 years ago, so I would have had 3 people working, or maybe only 2. I showed up today with 8 workers and she was impressed. I told them, weed, edge and mulch on 3 beds. They all split up between the beds without me having to tell them. A started doing some pruning that needed to be done, again without me telling him. It just went so smoothly.
Another week or 2 and I will start splitting the team on a regular basis so more of the jobs can get finished.
Tomorrow we are on a job with a contractor, will have to see how that goes. I am taking my students with me and if he doesn't like it this time, he can find someone else. I will remind him that he needs me more than I need him.
