Paddling pool!

What a day!! We started out with ballet - she had a wobble before she went in, but she very quickly settled and her teacher commented how much she's progressing and how she's spending the whole class grinning. She danced with a couple of her friends who've joined her in the class too so was a happy bunny. We rushed to get the get the train home only to be told we couldnt get on the train with the bike as several pushchair owners were refusing to fold them/move from the bike area. So we had a station picnic and waited for another train. We then had planned to pop in to the nursery summer fair. Popping in turned into a much longer stay than I had anticipated really. She had a lovely time, probably helped by the fact that we arrived a bit later on in proceedings so it was beginning to quieten off a bit. in a very small area, they'd managed to lay on everything a summer fair "should" have - ice cream van, hot dogs, bouncy castle, crafts, hook a duck, tombola. She loved hook a duck and spent ages playing on it. She did four colouring in pictures and then went to play in the preschool garden. She did all of this in her leotard and with her hair in a bun as she wanted to show one of her teachers!

After the fair, we got a bus into town, then another train back to the city to collect a new suitcase for our travels. We did a little bit more shopping and headed back home. She fell asleep on the train so we got a taxi back to our house. To encourage the waking up process, I said we could get out the paddling pool and she could wear the new swimming costume that we had bought her. So here she is. We discovered that our new house in fact didnt fit our tap, so for this afternoon she made do with 20 buckets full of water. Which have barely given her two inches of water! The thing is huggggeeee! She had a fabulous time.
