Baggage claim
Here's one sight that certainly hasn't changed in the last fifty years: people waiting for their bags to come around on the carousel.
After another good flight - overnight is definitely the way to do long haul - we landed around seven o'clock and made our way through customs.
While we stood waiting for our bags, we thought of ways to improve the process, settling on the fitting RFIDs to baggage, thereby enabling you to know when your bags were going to come through.
And then it was an Uber back to my folks' to collect the car, and then the Minx and I headed north back to Salford.
