Day one of Eastbourne break

We had a slowish start and drove to Eastbourne late morning.  We were both hungry on the drive down as we hadn’t eaten much last night so decided to stop for lunch enroute.  OH and I had visited a nice pub when we last in Eastbourne and I knew it was something to do with Cows or Bulls as I recalled the pub also had their own farm?!  I was driving and  No,1 was googling pub names in the area until we found it!  Bitter sweet drive as we drove past Firle where they were due to get married but have since had their deposit returned.  We found the pub but sadly was too windy to sit outside however had a delicious fish finger sandwich, salad and chips (not cordon bleu but certainly home made and tasty).  Drove to my brothers house and I relaxed while  No.1 had a snooze on account of late night and early start.  I had taken my tapestry so did some of that, relaxing watching the boats.  We weren’t that hungry so decided to have a quick drive to Asda for supplies and enjoyed ‘picky bits’ on the sofa while watching a chick flick and a small glass of wine!

Lovely day and hoping the sun will shine again  tomorrow.
