Loose Connections

I had to take my brother for his weekly appointment and after I dropped him off I once again took the short drive back to Loose. I've really come to enjoy my mini trips back to this picturesque little village on a Saturday and I'm starting to feel a connection to it - although it must be said I have been very lucky with the weather so far on each occasion I've visited.
Today I took my gentle stroll around the village in the opposite direction to last week and if anything the conditions for capturing an image were even better with glorious sunshine but just the right amount of cloudscape.
My main image is the viewpoint from the bench where I usually sit for a read of the Saturday papers and what a glorious spot it is with a wonderfully panoramic view across the valley the village sits in. The path in the centre of the image is the Brooks Path causeway that I mentioned in last week's Loose based blip with a dog walker bestriding it that I didn't actually notice until I looked back at the image later (o.k I know they're tiny but it does give you a sense of scale!) -  accidentally perfect timing!
My extra was taken on the causeway itself with the fast flowing Loose stream on each side as some of its duck based population floated past until one of its number started jumping up out of the water flapping its wings. I fired off a shot quickly but almost immediately realised my camera was on entirely the wrong settings but I actually quite like the result - at the very least it has a sense of movement to it! :-)
