Cabaret

The weather has rapidly changed into clouds and chilly winds so today became an indoor playing and admin day, all necessary.
 
I had booked tickets for a concert in Kalmar this evening at "Byteatern", 'the village theatre', where friends of mine performed music, songs and poems in a true cabaret spirit, inspired heavily by the music of Tom Waits. The theatre is a modern institution with all high end sound and lightning equipment so everything was looking and sounding perfect. I have in earlier blips written about this band, constantly working on their performance to make it stick together as a whole. They played a lot of new material and their two front figures, Johan and Anna are working together like never before and the individual members of the band has polished their characters a lot since I saw them last autumn. I wish they could tour more than they do, their skill and time they put into the performance is worth more notice on a national scale. Here's a short clip to give a taste of their style.
