Foxgloves Again!

I took other photos today but this stands out from the crowd.  A pre-tea walk through the foxgloves and then along the river with Meg, in bright sunshine this time and the flowers are still just amazing.  There's masses of pink campion in there too adding to the pink haze.

A day off.  A lazy start before a lengthy admin session this morning.  Various things ticked off.  After lunch a little more of the same and I topped up the garden waste bin with arisings produced after lodger P had cut down a thicket of brambles in the green lane that runs beside my property.   There's heaps more to dispose of, the bin will be emptied and filled again tomorrow!   I went for a snooze before the walk but it was interrupted multiple times by various people messaging me.

An evening community session at pottery was light on people but heavy on ginger cake.  One of us has been fundraising for a trip she's making in aid of a good cause and cake for donations has been a running theme for a while :-)   I had another go on the wheel tonight, well four goes.  An extra pic of the results .... bear in mind I started with four equal sized lumps of clay!
