Nine

This morning was beautifully clear and sunny, so I took Django on a grand tour of Penicuik Estate. Thanks to a decent week of sunshine after all the rain in recent weeks, everywhere was incredibly lush. I was pleased that Django was prepared to wait on top of this ancient fallen tree trunk so that I could add him to this photo of the Ramsay Obelisk and the Pentland Hills. I've added a couple of extras that were contenders.

By the time we were back, A had left to go rowing, but that was cancelled, so K and I joined her at Straiton for a tour of sofa bed shops. Shopping for anything other than food and running shoes I find utterly tedious, but the sofa bed we have in the living room is over twenty years old, and getting rather hard and tatty, so needs must...
