Day Three in Kos

As you can see, Monkey was up early this morning to beat the towel rush & get the best spot.

We'd seen yesterday that when we went for breakfast quite a number of towels had already been put out. We were surprised but thought, 'hell, the Germans aren't going beat us to the poolside', & so at the crack of dawn we slunk out & the towels were strategically placed. Job done.

We spent the day lazing by the pool, swimming, reading - Jen finished off the Hunger Games, which she loved & is already excited about Catching Fire, the second in the trilogy. We played table tennis at lunch & treated ourselves to a delicious ice cream from the poolside restaurant. There was no football or anything today as it was the entertainment teams day off - there is a Greek god after all!

We had a traditional Greek evening, moussaka was served for dinner (amongst the host of other things as usual on offer) & Greek dancing, jumping, whirling & singing (Zorba style) was our evening entertainment. Sadly no plates were smashed (well that's if you don't include the very cheery, but on the rarest of occasions, clumsy waiting staff).
