Little Bird!

Well, that's what came to mind as I was looking at it.

Arisaema flavum, native in China and Yemen, is the commonest species in cultivation as it is self fertile and sets seed readily.  I grow two forms of it, one which is strikingly yellow flowered as the name suggests and this one.  This came as seed in a seed exchange and is derived from plants raised from seed collected in the Himalayas quite a few years ago.   The flowers are small, it's a little curiosity plant really.   It will grow outside in the garden here.

A long work day at Aber Cafe.  Not especially busy.   After work, food, a sit down and chat with Ruth and then Mum.   Another sunset walk with Meg, once again able to let her run loose as we were the only ones there.
