A Summer Bouquet

My peonies are making a rather poor showing this year.  Even my tree peony, which is usually covered in flowers, had none.  The Siberian Iris did splendidly.  It is "flag Day here in the states, not that anyone really celebrates it anymore.  This type of iris is often called "flags".  Off to do a bit of “thrifting” with my cousin today.  A nice weekend ahead but next week we will have 4 days of hellishly hot temperatures.  I’m not looking forward to that.  (Blip has been acting up again and I have intermittent access so comments may be sparse.)
