"Is that a bear?"

Relax, Chippolina, Buster only comes at night...every night.  I am happy to say, though, the chippies and squirrels are loving the peanuts now although they'll gobble the sunflower seeds first.  A terrific thunderstorm blew through last night.  Why is it that just when the peonies reach full bloom, we get a pelting rain?  I'll go out this morning, after breakfast service is finished at the cafe, and salvage what I can.  At least everything is well watered!  The dreaded heat dome will arrive on Tuesday and last for 4 days.  UGH!  I'll enjoy this beautiful weekend and try not to think about it.
