Foreboding clouds…..

The early sun only just peeped under a bank of cloud. It has been a cold, rainy day. Very few patches of blue. Big black clouds sweeping in from the northwest, dropping rain as they passed.
Family members arrived from the Picton Ferry early afternoon. They brought a vehicle across. Margaret, her partner Steve and my granddaughter Emily. Steve’s lovely mother passed away in Nelson last week. The funeral is in Nelson on Tuesday. . Steve and Emily continued to Nelson later this afternoon. Margaret and will drive there early Tuesday.
