Sunday: #30DaysWild - Babbington Leek
The perennial leek has made a flower spike this year. For the last few weeks I’ve been waiting for it to flower and set seed but the weather has been so erratic. Had a closer look this afternoon and I may be mistaken but this flower head has flower buds and baby leek bulbs, I think …?!

MrD went off into the mountains on his motorbike as a Father’s Day treat and thoroughly enjoyed himself, even though he said it was quite chilly for most of the day.
All three of our children phoned this morning, always interesting and entertaining speaking with them :-))) XXX
Tonight’s viewing was the last 2 episodes of the series “Who is Erin Carter?” Even more crazy action, twists and turns in the storyline and the actors are all incredibly good, sorry to see it end - hope there’s a second series :-)
I did a little pottering in the garden, plants are slowly growing in our mixed bag of weather - mostly blue skies today, clouds and breezy too, some warmth in shaded parts of the garden.
Loads of love and hugs to all my family / Cariad Mawr
