Monday: #30DaysWild - Shallots and Caterpillars
I’ve been starting pots of shallots (to be eaten as salad onions) every few weeks, today’s is the final lot - the early ones have been growing in the greenhouse but I’ve brought them outdoors now, on the top level of my metal shelving.
A group of bikers arrived this afternoon to pick up a motorbike seat from MrD, they were very friendly - I made them all a cup of tea and left them to talk about motorbikes! :-)
Wasn’t too worried about seeing caterpillars eating my kale, in fact rather pleased - haven’t seen that many butterflies around so far, weather has been cool, windy and cloudy … not ideal for delicate flying creatures :-((
Had a quick check over at YG.Bangor early this morning, everything fine - thank goodness and a lovely bonus of seeing old workmate EricR and his lovely wife Beryl, who coincidentally was there for same reason :-))
Loads of love and hugs to all my family / Cariad Mawr
