We picked up the girl racer at 9 o'clock at Gatwick. Many hugs and tears and laughter as we have not seen her for a year and a half. After that it was business as usual as we slipped back into being a family again having a big brunch with the Dizzle and Ms R.

As if to help us celebrate, the weather turned sunny and warm. We made a quick trip into the local shops to get a few steps in, then came back and crashed out for the afternoon before Stryder came home from work; early evening found us sitting in the garden with chilled alcohol free beers.

Days like this, life is extremely good. I love having my family around me.
