Kebabs

For what feels like the first time all year I was able to run through one of our local woodlands without being ankle deep in mud today. My route is quite  a steep climb up to a view point, then all downhill on the way home. I need to add a loop in as it wasn't quite as far as I wanted but it was still fun.

After that Himself came to help build some raised beds at the allotment. The soil is very heavy and the incessant rain this year made it almost impossible to dig or plant things in. I'm hoping adding some raised beds will make things easier, although it will probably be next year before I can utilise them fully. 

No. 1 Not Child has an interview tomorrow for a permanent role at the school she's been temping as a TA at. It's a specialist school for the deaf and is completely silent. She is the only hearing member of staff there and will be interviewing entirely in BSL. I hope she gets it, she seems quite excited and not too anxious.

Chicken satay for dinner. If I have enough bits to make the satay. Or it might just be chicken kebabs.
