A very bright patch

The yellow-leaved plant is a herb - Golden origanum marjoram - dug up for me by a friend in her garden in Devon a few years ago.  It spreads like wildfire but adds colour to a flowerbed!  Just below that on the edge of the photograph is purple flowering thyme.

Drove to Sherborne this afternoon for an appointment and then in the evening Tai Chi in the village hall.
