The Sky Was Clearing……

The weather was damp and cold when Maisie and I started our walk early this morning. The view displayed today is looking to the south west with the Wither Hills in the far distance. The grass and other greenery is lush green. Such a contrast to the dry grass and paddocks of late summer and autumn.
Margaret returned to Wellington this morning. I dropped her off at the airport. Clouds were starting to roll over the Wither Hills and a cold breeze was blowing from the southeast. Winter is really here.
