Flaxes and Cabbage Tree
Another early morning…… almost the shortest day. Time has been flying by. We are nearly halfway through the year. The clump of native plants pictured today are growing on the banks of the river. The flaxes are enjoyed by the New Zealand songbird, the Tui particularly when the flowers are spilling pollen in the spring.
I had an appointment with my GP this morning she is a lovely young woman and very switched on.
A day at home but a bit too chilly for gardening and other outdoor work. Lots of nasty flu bugs out in the community so I intend to lie low.
