The Feast Day of Saint Margaret of Antioch. 289 to 304. Patron of childbirth and exiles.

It is 21c indoors, my favourite temperature. Outdoors it is sweltering. The cats are enjoying the warmth in the garden and playing. Hunter saw his first butterfly.

Paul and me went to the Garden Centre. It is well stocked with bedding plants and fruit trees, shrubs and perennials. My heaven place within a short drive. We bought 4 big bags of Dorset rounded pebbles

We bought two French lavender plants, a Vinca and a white trailing dianthus. It is so tempting in the Garden Centre but we stayed with our budget. I am saving up for a Clematis.

We are planting shrubs and then creating a pebbled covering to protect the plants. It looks good but is hard work in the sunshine. I received 5 Sweetheart strawberry plants and planted them up . Also, a small Gardenia which has buds opening in the Greenhouse.

I have done a wash and put it out on the clothes line.

Glad Scotland did well v Switzerland yesterday.

Now it's time for Holy Mass.
