Thursday: Roaring Creek Veterinary Clinic

Barney needed a rabies shot today so we took him to see Dr Baptiste, the vet in Roaring Creek, who came recommended (not highly, mind…..)

Luckily we managed to get an early appointment as he apparently gets drunker and drunker as the day progresses.  When we walked in, he was sober but glued to a massive TV screen from which he barely averted his eyes.  The nurse gave Barney a little bottom jab while Dr Baptiste filled in all the paperwork.  

For a vet, he’s remarkably uninterested in animals.  He never looked at Barney once, let alone commented on how magnificent he was.  For all he knew, we could have been trying to pass a pot-belly pig in a wig off as a cat.
