Pond planting

It doesn't look very exciting, does it?  But we're hoping that it will flourish and spread in the same way the planting around the pond in Norfolk did.  If you follow the link in this photo you can see what a difference three years can make - we just have to be patient!

I "enjoyed" some time kneeling (kneeling isn't easy on my replaced knees!) on the edge, planting into the stones.  W meanwhile mowed some of the grass.

In the evening, we met friends S, T and B at the Opera House in Wexford for Seven Drunken Nights.  S had arranged the outing for P, whose sister was married to Jim McCann, but sadly P was unable to come along as she was unwell.  (All seen here).  It was a great evening of song - we are not particularly familiar with the lyrics, but clearly many of the audience were, and joined in with gusto.
