Playing Host

Not sure if these little creatures are aphids, and if so what type, but there were a lot of them covering the tops of several plants nearby. Can't be good news whatever they are.

Difficult to photograph in the wind. The plants were moving, I was moving. One annoying feature of my camera is, I can zoom in to focus, but when I touch the shutter it zooms out again and I can't be sure I've still got focus. Have to be quick.
