And finally….
… we went out for dinner and were given a window seat looking onto the garden.
A full day.
Park run.. reminding myself it is a run not a race…
Followed by a walk through Hayes Farm woods. A new route and very quiet and beautiful. We’ll try to find it again!
D fitted a new battery into my car and it started nicely. The plan was to put it up on ramps to look underneath where the problem lies….
Then it turned into an afternoon in the garden for the Head Gardener, and in the study for me, I had the urge to go through some cupboards of school stuff. When the sun is beautiful outside… whyever!
And a lovely meal in The Wheatsheaf this evening, near Hever. An old hunting lodge of Henry V111 apparently.
D managed to speak to Neil today, after many efforts to get him. And so over our meal we talked about Valerie, going back over the last year, and friends for whom today has been a significant day. Our love to you all. Family we love, miss and remember, and it’s been good to re- live so many good times and to trust for the future.
Reckon we deserve a good night’s sleep now!
