Tuesday: Farewell

Tonight (or last night, as I am backblipping) we went out to say goodbye to my colleague, Chris, who is relocating to Algiers in a couple of weeks.  We are a bit concerned as he is driving there and the engine keeps dropping out of his car.........he has an old Land Rovery thing that he is determined to keep going for as long as he can.

The evening, which started with a meal, was all very pleasant and civilised but it went a bit downhill from here.  This is us, negotiating the steps from Upper to Lower Town, determined to find a bar to our liking.  We did notice how full of tourists the town is at the moment which is surprising - most people just tend to know the coast, but it seems that Zagreb is more and more on the tourist map.  

I am not entirely sure what time I got home........
