Missed opportunity.

Stopped off at a popular market town hoping for a bite to eat, or at least a cup of tea or something. Couldn’t find anything decent, apart from the usual Costa, Starbucks or Greggs. So we just had a wander round. Found a nice old bridge, which we thought would lead somewhere decent, but all we saw was a boarded up relic from pre-Covid/cost of living crisis times. This pub should have been a real gold mine, with day trippers stopping off during a drive through the Wye Valley.

Disappointed - yes! But we diverted further up the road to the British Camp car park where our stomachs were lined once again at a nice wee pub restaurant tucked in the Malvern Hills.
