Three Sisters

For Mima :-) They have leafed out beautifully and I was so happy to see there was water in the ditch that they are growing in. Mom said they aren't running water in that one anymore and I feared these trees would die. Well the ditch just up the road does get water and there is apparently overflow and it's run down to the lower ditch. I have to say I took my life in my hands to get out of the car to take this photo. The mosquitos were positively swarming around the car. I made it a very quick photo.
I came out and spent time with Mom and we drove up to the little town of Centennial. A friend plays jazz at one of the bars up there. It's an outdoor setting and so relaxing sitting in the shade of the aspen, visiting with friends and listening to music. And no mosquitos really until around 5:00. Perfect.
