A Day At A Time.

Uzès

Quite by chance, I discovered that my old prep school pal Ian, whom I first met in 1969, happened to live in Uzès, a place that Jacqui had put on her list to visit. Ian and I went on to Cheltenham College and were pals until 1976. I didn't catch up with him again until about 10 years ago, so this was an opportunity not to be missed.

After a very brief, but affectionate reunion, we went off to explore Uzès in the drizzle. Uzès is very historic and beautiful, but has the added advantage of being small enough to walk around in not too long.

We managed to dodge the rain until about 3:30 when it was time to head back to Spain. And with petrol being 2.15 euros a litre on French motorways, I couldn't wait to get the TT back on some more economic fuel.
