Little Painted Stone
Had another quiet day at home. Did another load of washing. Caught up with some TV viewing. Finally got round to putting some photos from my trip on Facebook.
The weather was warm again but there was no sunshine.
There is no theme for Tiny Tuesday so I decided to blip a little painted stone I found in Shoreham. A nice souvenir of a lovely day out. Thanks to sk for hosting.
There were a few painted rocks by the side of the path as we walked along by the pebble beach. I chose this one and Astrid chose a small flat one with painted stripes. She put her stone on her flat hand and started running saying it was " the egg race ". Apparently one of her Peppa Pig books is about an Egg and Spoon Race . She had fun running along with her stone ... but she kept dropping it and a few times it nearly got lost. So I invented " the tight race " where she held the stone tightly in her hand and ran along. She went with this idea and the stone safely made it back home.
Watching the England match at the moment. Score is 0 - 0. Wish Southgate would bring on Anthony Gordon to shake things up a bit as the game is going nowhere at the moment.
