Climbing down at a snail's pace

Backblip:

It should be remembered that this trip wasn't about Paris, it was about the Drôme. So a couple of days tacked on to the end of the trip was all we were going to have to view the sites of one of Europe's great cities. And having so much to do in the way of backblipping means this is all you are going to get in the way of piercing prose. 

We'd booked a visit to the Arc de Triomphe - and so we dutifully climbed up and down. Great views of the whole of the city - as should be expected... we left it too late to get into the Tour Eiffel, but that means we will have to come back and do it next time. 

In the afternoon, in the rain, we went of a Seine boat cruise. As always, trying to do the maximum in the least amount of time...
