The Gothic splendour of, etc. etc.

Backblip:

Our final day in Paris once more left us running around as tourists cursing the proliferation of tourists in the middle of summer in one of the world's most visitable cities.

We'd braved the RER in from Champs de Marne, and then wandered around the streets of Paris early enough to be accompanied only by the sans-abri. Made our way to Sainte-Chapelle to stand in line with all the other holders of priority tickets and then be amazed by the sheer beauty of such a place. We followed that up with the Conciergerie.

Ended up with a visit to Montmartre and an ogle at Sacré Coeur. Back to the Andres' place, and dinner in a very welcoming Italian restaurant.
