River of Flowers

Sunday: #30DaysWild - Pollinators

Grey, overcast and a few spots of rain this morning. We decided to get rid of our old freezer, MrD has bought a new one which doesn’t need defrosting. Don’t ask …

Today’s photo of a beautiful carder bee (I think!) foraging on the blue Jacob’s ladder, a marmalade hover fly, caterpillar of Cabbage White Butterfly and an insect I’m unfamiliar with … whilst I was wandering around the garden, MrD had gone for a ride on his electric bike and had a good time :-))

Female blackbirds eating berries in the cotoneaster tree in the hedge, the bees and other insects are busy collecting nectar from the tiny flowers - this tree is certainly a very welcome food provider for nature :-)

We’ve started watching “Spooks” on iPlayer, starting with Series 1 episode 1 … might take some time …
