A trial run.....................
This is Charlotte and this is Charlotte's garden. How fabulous is this?
Next week Ann is going to the Scilly Isles for the day. Going to the Scilly Isles for the day, involves getting up really early, going to Penzance to get the Scillion ferry (which takes almost three hours) spending about three hours on the island, and then another three hours on the ferry home. Mmmmmmm............ Ann's actually beginning to wonder whether it is worth it, but heyho, a day out for £25 can't be bad can it???!!!
Although Ann considered taking me with her, she thought I'd be happier on dry land and our very lovely friend, Charlotte, offered to take Ann & her friends to the ferry port, pick them up when they come back, and look after me. Just how nice is that?
Because Ann is a very over protective Collie pup mummy (and Charlotte hasn't looked after me before), she said that we had to have a 'trial run.'
This afternoon Ann dropped me off at Charlotte's while she popped to Tesco's for half an hour. Ann was worried that I would spend the whole time crying because we hardly ever spend any time apart. …........As if?!! She was also worried that Charlotte would spend the whole time crying because, although I love Charlotte to bits, she's never looked after me before and Ann thought I might be a bit much for her.
First I played in Charlotte's garden with my ball and then I went indoors. OMG?! I love Charlotte's house. She has french windows, so I can sit watching what is going on outside. Today there was nothing going on outside, but Charlotte lives on a farm, and if I'm going to spend a whole day there, I bet I'll see the farm cats. Or the badgers or the foxes. How cool will that be?!
I only got left at Charlotte's for about half an hour but I didn't cry and neither did Charlotte so all is good.
The trial run has been a success. Yay!
