Uptown

Moving right along, we’re in North Carolina and staying in Charlotte for a couple of days. Great views from our 15th floor hotel room but these are from ground level as we explored Uptown for a while. Had thought of visiting the Museum of Illusions but stayed too long in the sports bar under the NASCAR Hall of Fame (11 different sports channels on about 20 TV screens!) so that’ll be tomorrow.
I almost forgot: possibly for the first time ever I was defeated by a plate of fish & chips! A diner in Thomasville served me 4 catfish fillets on a bed of chips (crisps) and hush puppies and I was forced to leave half a fillet. I blame the hush puppies, they’re too moreish.
