The Octagon, Birmingham

Since Len and I have been commuting monthly to Birmingham for his medical trial, we have witnessed the growth of The Octagon at Paradise Circus, just behind the library. It's a prestige residential building, hardly a home for skint people. Personally, I wonder what would be the appeal of living in a high rise concrete tower given that the view is not likely to be that prepossessing, although nearer the top you could imagine that you would be living amongst the clouds.

A drizzly morning eventually gave way to blue skies and higher temperatures. It was all much more efficiently organised today. It was still almost 6 pm when we reached home.
